2026 Tryout Dates Announced!

The CT Bombers join other reputable organizations in not holding any Tryouts until the current season has been completed.

Doing otherwise is disrespectful to current players and unfair to prospects, usually coupled with pressure tactics for a quick commitment.

We respect our players, our prospects, and the game as a whole.

Selena Cosentino HR!

Selena (#17) is greeted by her teammates after an OTF blast to put her team on top in the 14-U division Semi-final of the USSSA Annie "99" Memorial in Southington.

The CT Bombers Black 14-U finished Second with a 4-1 records for the weekend of July 26-27. A very fine way to finish the tournament season!

Congratulations to the CT Bombers Teal 16-U who, over July 22-25th, played in the Fast Pitch Nation Summer Nationals.

Pool Play:

10-0 over the Blue Angels (Horsham PA)

9-1 over the Berkshire Lady Knights (Lenox MA)

11-2 over the Langhorne Lightning (Levittown PA)

Earned the A1 seeding

Elimination Rounds (Double):

4-0 over the CT Tigers, B4 (W Hartford CT)

5-2 over the Saugerties Sonics, B1 (Saugerties NY)

7-0 march through the tournament. Outscoring opponents 48-6.

FPN Summer Nationals Champions for the second time in 3 years.

16-U Teal With Another Impressive Run

July 18-20 took the squad to the Cape Cod College Showcase. A good 25 team affair in Swansea MA.

Friday started with a solid 8-2 victory over the always tough Mass Drifters Navy and ended with a 13-0 shellacking of the NWS Elite.

Saturday saw a hard fought 3-2 victory over the NH Prospects-Vogler before concluding with a lopsided 11-0 blanking of the Worcester Union-Rose.

Sunday's finals started with a nail-biting 2-1 win over the Walpole Crush. Next was an even tougher 3-2, 8 inning, International Tie Breaker, win over the CT Titans Green in the Semi-final.

The Championship game was another hard-fought affair ending with a 5-3 loss to the Hudson Demolition.

All in all a very good 6-1 weekend facing some quality teams and earning Second Place in the process. A very nice touch was no medals, or trophies, but a nice Hoodie for each of the girls!

As always, a tip of the cap to Don Dibiassio and the entire Swansea Girls Softball Organization for a high-quality event that we will continue to support.

14-U Black Continued Success:

July 19-20 took the team to the East of the River Rumble in East Hartford for an 11-team event.

Saturday's Pool Play started with a 8-4 victory over the South Shore Chaos before a 7-4 win over the CT Monarchs, and concluded with a 5-0 blanking of the South Shore Patriots.

The 3-0 record earned the team the overall #1 seed for Sundays elimination Rounds and a bye for the first game.

Sunday's playdowns began with a 10-1 victory in a rematch with the South Shore Chaos before another rematch saw a 9-1 victory over the CT Monarchs in the semi-finals.

The Finals saw yet a third rematch for the weekend this time vs. the South Shore Patriots, who were complemented roundly for being a very good group of Players and Coaches always pleasant and nothing but good sportsmanship.

After 2 innings, the game was tied at 1. Unfortunately, the Thunder, then Lightning, then Downpours came calling and the game was called for safety reasons. Being the Bombers were the one seed and the Patriots the six seed the CT Bombers Black were declared the Champions.

A very successful 5-0-1 weekend with positive results that ended in a memorable fashion.

Another Final for 14-U Black!

The CT Bombers Black 14-U participated in the July 12-13,

14-U division of the 2025 Nutmeg State Games as the defending Champion having won the 2024 12-U Division.

Pool Play started with a 8-6 victory over the DiamondZone Futures, followed by a 8-2 win over the Western Mass Heat, and concluded with a 9-5 win over the CT Cannon Bombshells - Silvestre.

The 3-0 record earned the team the #2 Seed for the elimination rounds.

Sunday's Elimination rounds started with a 11-9 win over the #7 seeded CT Cannon Bombshells - Pezzello, then a 5-3 win over the #3 Seed Bombers Elite Softball 14-U Premier in the semi-finals.

The Championship was a rematch vs the #4 Seeded DiamondZone Futures.

The Bombers jumped out to a large 1st inning lead but the DiamondZone kept coming chipping away never giving up and eventually taking the win by an 11-10 score.

CT Bombers Black finished the weekend with a 5-1 record and earning Second Place. Congrats to the Grit of the DiamondZone!

CT Bombers Teal 12-U participated in the 3-day Firecracker on the 4th at Fastpitch Nation Park.

Way To Go 12-U Black!!!!!

The 14-U White team competed in the USSSA Bring the Heat tournament in Southington, CT. A 12 team event in the 14-U Division.

Saturday's Pool Play started with a 3-2 victory over the Host Waves, then a 6-1 win over the RI Crush Red, before ending with a 8-3 victory over the Apponaug Pride.

The 3-0 record earned the team the #1 Seed and a bye to the Semi-finals.

In the Semi-final, the team posted a 7-3 win over the South Shore Chaos - Sheehan. In the Finals, the team pulled together and earned a 7-5 win over the Waves.

A very nice 5-0 weekend culminating with a Championship!

Another Championship for CT Bombers Black 14U!

The 14-U Black team competed in the 9 team Summer Slam in Meriden CT on the weekend of June 21-22.

Saturday's Pool Play results were a 16-2 Loss to the Run & Gun Lady Nightmares, followed by a 7-7 Tie with the W MA Heat, ending with a 12-2 Victory vs the RES Angels. The 1-1-1 record earned the team the #5 Seed for Sunday's elimination rounds.

Sunday saw a rematch with the #4 Seeded W MA Heat, ending with a 7-2 victory. Next up the #1 Seeded Run & Gun Lady Nightmares, another rematch from Saturday, ending with a 12-2 run rule victory in the semi-finals. The Championship game was vs the #2 Seeded Stealth. For the second consecutive weekend 14-U Black defeated Stealth, this time 1-0, in the Finals earning a second consecutive CHAMPIONSHIP.

CT Bombers White 14-U Earns Hardware!

The 14-U White team competed in the USSSA Bring the Heat tournament in Southington, CT. A 12 team event in the 14-U Division.

Saturday's Pool Play saw a 13-1 victory in a run rule shortened game vs the CT Monarchs Blue. Next was a 13-5 win over Heat Softball. Finally a 7-7 Tie vs the Empire State Huskies Motis. the 2-0-1 record earned the team the #3 Seed for Sunday's elimination rounds.

Sunday was a good day! Starting with a 5-0 defeat of the #5 seeded Phoenix Fire. Followed by a 5-3 win over the #2 seeded CT Titans Blue in the semi-finals. The Championship game saw a 11-6 victory over the #1 seeded Team Nitro LI.

A very satisfying 5-0-1 Championship weekend

CT Bombers White 18-U Does it Again!

The 18-U White team competed in the 7 team Summer Slam in Meriden, CT the weekend of June 21-22.

Saturday's Pool Play was a good day, starting with a 6-2 win over the Shoreline Sting Blue. That was followed by a 5-0 victory over the CT Jags - Hurd. The day concluded with a hard-fought 2-1 loss to Rapids Softball.

The 2-1 record earned the squad the #2 seed for the Sunday elimination rounds.

Sunday was even hotter than Saturday on the thermometer and the field! The day started with a rematch with the Shoreline Sting Blue ending in a 5-2 victory. Next was the #3 seeded Shoreline Sting Gold and a 2-1 victory in the semi finals. The Championship game was a match-up with the #5 seeded Valley Storm-G ending with a 4-1 victory.

A very good 5-1 weekend culminating in another Championship for the 18-U White team.

Congratulations to our 18-U Team!

The team went with 10 players, having no practices since early March, traveled to the Hurricane on the Hill tournament in Meriden, CT.

They followed up a 3-0 Saturday with a 2-0 Sunday to take the Championship. They outscored opponents by a margin of 47-18.

It will be interesting to see how this team develops with a few practices together and in larger tournaments ahead.

Congratulations, 12-U Black!

Our 11 Y/O Team (well, 9 of them to be more precise) traveled to West Greenwich, RI for the Waves Summer Slam.

Saturday was a rough day, going 0-3 and giving up 34 runs. The teams were seeded and separated into a Gold and Silver Bracket for Sunday.

Sunday, the "nasty nine" came to play! Winning two games before falling in the Silver Division Championship game and taking Second Place.

Way to go, 14-U Black!

In the 15th straight weekend with measurable precipitation (it's getting old by the way) our 14-U Black team was on fire! Traveling to East Hartford for the 13 Team Father's Day Bash Tournament. Saturday saw an abbreviated 2 Pool Play saw an 8-1 victory over the Bedford Bolts and a 10-1 win over the Cape Cod Chaos.

Sunday saw a longer road, starting with a 9-6 victory over the Stamford Stingers, followed by a 10-6 win over the
RI Thunder Gold. In the quarter-finals, a 4-3 win over the Cape Code Chaos in the semifinals, and finally a 11-3 win over Stealth in the Championship.

A very nice 6-0 weekend!

Congratulations CT Bombers 18-U White!

The team traveled to E Hartford and the Father's Day Bash. In our 15th straight weekend with RAIN, Saturday's pool play was shortened to 2 games and the 18-U team finished the weekend with a 4-1 record.

The only loss being an 8 inning (ITB) in the Championship game. The squad earned Second Place as a result and has a 9-1 record over their first two weekends.
